Good Fortune

I'm a bit of a smart alec.

Luckily, my husband isn't phased by this....

honestly, he never has been.

In fact, when were just friends,

I mentioned that he was so cliche-

he would be the type of guy 

that would propose in a fortune cookie.

He rolled his eyes and nodded,

but got me back a few months later ...

... when he proposed to me in a fortune cookie. 

Sigh.

{Our engagement... I still said yes!}

It served me right...

and assured me that he was the perfect guy for me.

Now to commemorate the event,

I get the last laugh.
